Intelligent Recording Buys Comvurgent Recording Business

Intelligent Recording Limited, Doncaster UK are pleased to announce the purchase of the Call Recording business of Comvurgent Limited.

Intelligent Recording is fully operational from the same offices in Doncaster UK and Mission Viejo California as well as the satellite sales office in Minneapolis Minnesota.

The full team from Comvurgent have transferred to Intelligent Recording.

Philip Hill, Founder and CEO of Intelligent Recording said "Although our customers will see very little immediate difference in the people, products and services from the new company, the underlying capital structure of the business is vastly different enabling us to invest more into new product design and sales and marketing expansion".

Steve Trok, VP US Operations commented "Our US  customers will still be placing orders with Comvurgent USA for a short period while we transition to the new Intelligent Recording USA company, a process we expect to complete seamlessly in the coming months."

Philip Hill Continued "We've got some exciting products in development that are a direct result of the new structure which will really consolidate our position as the leader in the Professional Digital Call Recording space for small business."

Comvurgent welcomes Penny Taylor, Marketing Manager

Comvurgent reaches it's 25,000th Port Installed!

Comvurgent is excited to inform its resellers and customers that we have exceeded 25,000 extensions installed. Our rate of sales growth continues as new, larger products are released.

Comvurgent announces entry into SD Memory Based Technology

Comvurgent is globally renowned for it's PC based digital call recording solutions using USB (Universal Serial Bus) as a plug n' play interface between the PBX and the recording PC. We are now delighted to inform our customers that in the near future we will be offering a suite of stand-alone products based on SD (Secure Digital) memory card technology.

'The underlying technology is changing rapidly, stated Philip Hill, Intelligent Recording founder & CEO. 'Consumers are now used to purchasing MP3 products that deliver hundreds of hours of music storage in a small, portable device and then manage the content via their PC when convenient, Digital Call Recording products have to follow suit'.

Comvurgent is pleased to announce a major investment and development of digital recorders that will have the same great feature set as our USB devices yet operate without a PC and have the same massive recording storage capacity.

'It's crazy!', continued Philip Hill, 'you can open a catalogue from any major distributor and still see stand-alone tape based recorders. SD memory technology driven by mass manufactured digital camera's and MP3 products means a $20 memory card can store a whole years conversation for an average telephone user!'
